Every small business should have a blog that presents information about their products and services, thought leadership in industry and compelling posts about the company and it’s culture. The BlackBerry WordPress app offers most of what you’d expect in the web version, allowing you to add posts, manage content, and moderate comments.

WordPress for Android version 1.2 was released in May 2010 with the latest 1.3 in July for the Android Market. Some new features have been added:

• You can view your blog’s stats, page views, referrers, search terms and more in real time.
• Video upload and video sharing to a new WordPress post.
• Comments can be moderated with a new “bulk edit” feature.
• The Visual Editor allows stylized text with new formatting buttons.
• Post geotagging support (enable geotagging first in the blog settings window). If you are running a self-hosted blog, install the geolocation plugin to show your location.
• HTC Tattoo Android Market fix.
